5 stars minus one because I don't believe that Joseun could ever invading Europe :PThe Rithmatists is really intriguing, exciting and interesting to read. Rithmatics is quite complex magic, need a lot brain power to compile. The alternated history and worldbuilding is somehow didn't alienate like one in Mistborn Trilogy, however, creative and compelling enough to get attract to. Narration and Dialog improved a lot from what Mistborn was, it felt more natural and less stiff. Characterization, though a bit flat compare to literary YA fiction, yet quite rounded compare to those aimed for the same audience.
