A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol - Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol was the first pieces of Charles Dickens I have read in full version. I think Dickens's writing is beautiful but difficult to read for non-native speaker like me. And some of detail was over-described, made the story progress quite slow somehow. But i won't low any star because I found that it was a custom of Victorian Era's writing.

This is not the first book with the theme of being benovolence and caring of each other. But this is the first book I feel that it was portrayed this theme very well. And the end of the book had got tears in my eyes. It was simple but profound. Each development of Scrooge was obvious. Acquaintances of Scrooge never lost any hope for him, I appreciated this as much as how I appreciated the ending.

I glad that I was able to finished this before Christmas :)
